Job Description

• Assist in surveys to ascertain the locations of natural features and man-made structures on the site,


• Takes responsibility for the safety of all Survey equipment, Maintain equipment, and uses by surveying crews.


• Perform manual labor, such as cutting light bush for lines during survey operations, carrying stakes, rebar, and other items, and stacking rods.


• Place and hold measuring tapes when required in measurements.


• Position and hold thevertical rods, or targets, used for sighting to measure angles, distances, and elevations.


• Provide assistance in the development of methods and procedures for conducting field surveys.


• Assist in recording survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and inked tracings.


• Assist in the search for section corners, property irons, and survey points and Controls. Assist in setting out and recovering stakes, marks, and other monumentations.


• Establish stakes for benches and cross-section elevations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years relevant work experience.
