Job Summary
- You will be responsible for increasing the organization's profitability by efficiently managing the organization’s funds through trading /investment and corporate sales and catering to the domestic and international market within the approved regulatory framework guidelines.
- You will also be responsible for effectively and prudently managing the organization's liquidity and mitigating its operational, financial and reputational risks.
Description
- Source for investors for projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all treasury-related inquiries
- Negotiate favourable terms for asset backed investments
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with investors
- Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that accounting records are kept up to date
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed
- Proactively, and with a long-term focus, develop an internal and external network that effectively generates prospects for new business as appropriate. This would include maintaining relationships.
- Ensure customer needs/expectations are profitably met and/or exceeded.
- Prepare proposals, undertake negotiations with prospects, and complete internal negotiations relative to Treasury and Payment Solutions sales.
- Develop and execute plans to increase the commercial payment volume of existing clients through the use of value added.
- Increase market share and generate profit.
- Ensure an effective control on limits, policies and procedures in dealing with clients.
- Develop objectives and action plans to achieve the company’s budgeted volumes and earnings in the area of Treasury marketing.
- Develop strategies and marketing plans to sell existing and new treasury products
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in corporate treasury marketing
- Strong understanding of cash management and investments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
