Job Summary

- Manage and coordinateall activities relating to customer complaints management, service orde rmanagement, after sales service, and sales/training support carried out by the Sales Support and Operations function.
Principal Functions

Tactical
- Continuously review the activities of the Sales and Service Support unit, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved improvement initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.
- Identify required resources, personnel, funding to achieve the unit/function's strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Operational
- Manage and coordinate all activities relating to customer complaints management, service order management, aftersales service, and sales and training support carried out by the Sales Support, and Operations function.
- Ensure that all sales channels have all supplies required to fulfill the sales goals including IT applications.
- Manage inter-functional relations with Engineering, IT, Sales, Customer Care teams, to ensure synergy and efficiency in delivering seamless sales operations support.
- Participate in sales vendor selection process.
- Ensure EMTS's brand visibility via communications media and advertising materials in sales outlets.
- Maintain relationship with trade partners/distributors.
- Monitor and ensure compliance to EMTS's defined numbering plan.
- Ensure timely delivery of branding and merchandising materials to venues for events, exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, etc.
- Implement the unit's work programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines.
- Plan and manage the human and material resources of the Sales and Service Support function to optimize performance, morale and enhance productivity.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates' performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
- Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the Sales and Service Support unit.
- Review performance/activity reports including sales performance reports from subordinates.
- Prepare/compile agreed periodic sales activity, financial and performance reports for the attention of the Chief Sales Officer.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Sales Officer.
Educational Requirements

- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience,Skills & Competencies
- Nine (9) to twelve (12) years work experience,with at least three (3) years in a managerial role.
