Job summary
Learning and development coordinator plans training programs for members of a corporate team or departments within a company. Duties will include assessing training needs and communicating these needs to management. You also provide them with information about in-house or third-party training opportunities. You may plan development events for the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and overseeing the L&D specialists’ schedule
- Help track L&D budget to ensure that training needs are met
- Overseeing program implementation while tracking the results and maintaining detailed records.
- Supporting the L&D, Head with coordinating and keeping track of all training events
- Ensure L&D specialists are adhering to L&D policies
- Manage course and workshop attendance
- Ensure room availability and proper furniture/equipment arrangements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as L&D coordinator, or similar relevant experience
- Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
- Experience as a sales expert is an advantage
- Exposure to HR and L&D
- Act as assistant to training manager, including calendar support.
Core Skills
- Good understanding of the organization’s business.
- Experience in budgeting
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficiency including all Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel)
