Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, and web development best practices. The role requires the ability to build custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as troubleshoot and optimize existing sites.

Responsibilities:

• Build custom WordPress themes and plugins


• Troubleshoot and optimize existing sites


• Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement new features and functionality


• Ensure website compatibility across all major browsers and devices


• Provide technical support for website issues


• Stay current with the latest WordPress updates and security best practices

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, and web development best practices


• Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins


• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing existing sites


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript


• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility


• Familiarity with Git and version control systems


• A portfolio of recent work is a plus
