As the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the leader to drive the strategic vision of the organisation, ensuring seamless operations and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the leader to develop and refine the business plan, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial projections
Identify and secure capital raising opportunities, including investor outreach, pitch presentations, and negotiation of terms
Oversee the establishment of the company, including legal, regulatory, and operational requirements
Develop and implement financial and accounting processes to ensure the company's long-term financial health
Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of the organization, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective processes
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and drive growth initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor to the leader, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations on key business decisions
Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, potential investors, and other relevant stakeholders
Continuously evaluate the organization's performance and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or management roles, preferably within the financial services industry
Proven track record in starting new ventures, capital raising, and establishing businesses
Strong understanding of financial management principles, including financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team setting
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing circumstances
Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus
