We are looking to employ a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to increase sales within an assigned geographical area and guide a team of Field Sales Executives.
Responsibilities
Coordinating with your team to ensure information is properly dispatched for effective result
Visiting /Making contacts with distributors to ensure sales are effectively done.
Identifying, evaluating and appointing new distributors.
Insuring our product, all SKUs are billed and available across the assigned area.
Breeding and developing strategies for effective target achievement.
Preparing sales reports for your area on regular basis.
Carrying out effective target breakdown analysis and tracking to insure targets are met.
Preparing reports on the activities of competition / Price analysis, promotion schemes, and rebates.
Discovering and developing a new market for larger coverage.
Requirements
B.Sc., HND or MBA in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Experience in a reputable FMCG is added advantage
