Job Description

Tailor job description should contain a variety of functions and roles including:

• Agreeing a style and fabric with the customer


• Working out how long it will take and the cost of producing the garment


• Producing a pattern, either by hand or using computer aided design


• Sewing garments


• Fitting the garment and marking any alterations.


• Creating a design (either by adapting an existing pattern or developing a new design)


• Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / Degree


• 3 years design experience.


• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
