Summary

• Ensure mechanical maintenance and repairs are done on mobile plant equipment according to maintenance schedules to facilitate smooth operations.

Responsibilities 

• Carries out mobile equipment maintenance as per schedule using job plans taking into consideration all safety precaution 


• Repair of mobile equipment maintenance on breakdown.


• Carry out mobile equipment maintenance at anytime of the day when called upon by superiors.


• Reports, through breakdown reports to superiors on causes of breakdown remedy done and spares used.


• Ensures good and correct use of tools.


• Ensures place of work is left clean after repair/maintenance tasks.


• Follow and respect on call / shift system according to the plant rules


• Be discipline and respectable in the eyes of your peers.


• Comply with EMS Mechanical Instrumentation activities


• Ensure involvement in the implementation and maintenance of integrated management system in the plant.

Education & Experience

• Trade test I, II, III or City and guide or SSCE


• 2 years’ experience in mobile plant equipment repair and maintenance


• Knowledge of work and safety rules and regulations


• Knowledge of relevant equipment and tools


• Knowledge of mobile plant Equipment repairs and maintenance 


• Attention to detail


• Good aptitude for field work and attention to cleanliness


• Accurate and meticulous


• Reliable/independent


• Flair for doing the “routine”
