ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES



EXPORT SALES



  • Achieve sales targets in the assigned geography.

  • Sales Manager should be self-starter, highly motivated, dynamic and able to manage direct and sales through dealers, agents in the assigned geography.

  • He should capture customer expectations regarding product performance, quality and specifications and work along with sales head and product management group based on product application.

  • He should be able to understand the market potential for performance chemicals and initiate sales strategies to increase Thermax’s visibility and sales.

  • Continuously interact with dealer and their team to enhance technical competency.

  • Ensure KPIs with customers are monitored and also provide trouble shooting support to customers.

  • Identify industrial hubs in assigned territory and appoint new dealers/agents for improving reach.

  • Fair understanding of commercial terms and INCOTERMS.

  • Co-ordinate with commercial team to ensure on time delivery to customers.

  • Responsible for receivables.

  • Understanding competition moves and pricing in the assigned geography.

  • New Product Development / Application Development and sales

  • To gather information regarding new products, new technologies in performance chemicals field and interact with Product Management team for new product application development in assigned geography.

  • To gather information for new application of existing products, identify customers and organize trials and product performance in assigned territory.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS



  • Essential Qualification : MSc Chemistry/ BE

  • Desirable Qualification/Skills: Same as above

  • Experience : 4 to 5 Years

  • Products to be handled : Water Treatment Chemicals & Ion Exchange Resins
