Job Description

• We are looking for a young vibrant right-brained intelligent and creative Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing construction projects.


• You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservation from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match brand and client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Responsibilities

• Manage project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design


• Take the “brief” to identify brand and clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals


• Develop ideas keeping in mind brand and client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact


• Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections


• Compile project specifications


• Keep within budgets and timelines


• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations


• Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project


• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals


• Develop eco-friendly, sustainable and smart-home designs that reflects a response to today’s climate-change


• Follow architectural trends and advancements.

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 1 - 6 years work experience.


• Proven working experience as an Architect


• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills


• Demonstrated experience in luxury designs


• Savvy in modernism in architecture


• Possess leadership and teamwork skills


• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards


• Possess disruptive and innovative design experience.


• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)


• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions


• Possess Intuitive, thinking, and Judging personality traits.


• The individual should be creative, resourceful, be technically focused with foresight and drive


• Visual awareness and an eye for detail


• Demonstrated knowledge of small, medium and large scale projects from conceptual to development phase


• Demonstrate external and interior architectural designs including landscape, green design, industrial/commercial, residential architectural (demonstrate general knowledge in these areas).
