Job Summary
- The SAP Snr Business Analyst will optimize our business processes by integrating customized SAP solutions.
- You will be analysing our processes, collaborating with management on SAP integration, and overseeing the implementation of our SAP solutions.
- Oversee a team of SAP SME (Subject Matter Experts) functional and technical resources, providing day-to-day support to end users on SAP.
- Facilitate workshops and trainings with personnel in the finance, supply chain and Project & Control, HR departments in order to fully understand the group’s business processes. Conduct process review and re-engineering.
OPERATIONAL
- Assessing business needs via business process analysis, collaboration, and observation.
- Determining how to integrate SAP software programs to enhance targeted business processes.
- Customizing existing programs and adding new programs to a single SAP-integrated platform.
- Collaborating with the IT team to offer technical solutions and resolve issues.
- Oversee SAP deployment to provide metrics for reporting to executive team on business case ROI.
- Documenting SAP processes and preparing progress reports.
- Keeping informed of the latest SAP updates, developments, and offerings.
- Provides clear and reliable communications to internal teams, project stakeholders, external vendors, and customers.
- Ensure value realization for the organization's investment in SAP.
LEADERSHIP
- Provide leadership, work direction and feedback for internal SAP team.
- Ensure that all members of the SAP service team are fully aware of group’s objectives and they all understand how their input contributes to these objectives.
- Motivate work of others within or outside of direct authority to ensure business milestones and deliverables are met.
- Oversee and lead the group’s SAP service team (functional and technical resources), providing day-to-day support to End Users on SAP
MANAGEMENT
- Present formal presentations and executive summaries to provide recommendations and status updates of SAP utilization.
- Provide Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) on selected business processes to assemble input into business case.
- Ensure organization wide adoption of SAP application as the key enterprise resource planning tool for the organization.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Maintains close relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains relationships with local/international suppliers to ensure that services are delivered on time and in full (SAP AG etc).

- Challenges conventional thinking through analysis and comes up with better/cheaper/faster alternatives.

Requirements
- The role holder will require a very good all round understanding of Information Technology and how it can influence and support an OIL & GAS EPIC business. Coupled with this, a good working knowledge of SAP as well as specific knowledge of finance and supply chain, HR and Project & Control activity will be key to the success of the role.
- He/she will additionally require a high level of managerial and inter-personal skills particularly an ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company whilst also understanding change management techniques to enable him/her to drive change, foster innovation and ensure that SAP supports the business activity of the group.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other numeric discipline.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- PMP, General knowledge of SAP or ERP deployment activities.
- SAP FICO certification
- SAP S4 HANA Experience
