Summary



  • Incumbent is required to have experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management, experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

  • Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

  • Knowledge of public relations principles and practices. Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

  • Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources.

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.


The Regional CEO/MD’s critical responsibilities are as follows:



  • Accept leadership accountability for continuous improvement and implementation of the mission, vision, goals, values, and policies of the School.

  • Represent, communicate, and advocate on behalf of the school at authorizing agencies, local and state government agencies, and business partners, as directed by the Board.

  • Ensure legal and ethical integrity in the school.

  • Recruit, manage, evaluate, provide leadership to, and inspire the leadership team, including Heads and Assistant Heads of School.

  • Execute all decisions approved by the Board. Understand that authority resides with the Board, organizational bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, charter agreements, state and federal law.


Leadership/ Decision Making/ Comprehensive Planning



  • Work with the Board and Leadership Team to create, refine, and implement a comprehensive plan that develops a stable, sustainable organization for the success of the school and the stakeholders it serves.

  • Assist the Board President in the development of Board agenda.

  • Attend all Board meetings.

  • Provide guidance to the Board and assist in decision- making.

  • Work with the Board and the Heads of School as a governance advisory team and ensure collective responsibility for building a unity of purpose, communicating a common vision, and creating a positive organizational culture
