Supervise kitchen staff & oversee kitchen activities as directed
Ensure the effective & productive collaboration of lounge & kitchen staff & activities
Create effective schedules & quickly resolving conflicts. Ensure the smooth running of the business
Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, & inspire team members to meet & exceed set standards
Observe staff & business performance & recommend improvements where necessary
Communicate with guests & employees. Listen to & understand requests, respond with appropriate actions & provide accurate information
Make decisions & take actions based on previous experience & good judgment, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations
Develop & implement basic operating standards for the lounge service in compliance with standard procedures & policies
Maximize the lounge’s profitability, implement effective controls of beverage & labor costs, & monitor the lounge’s budget to ensure efficient operations
Ensure stock levels are maintained & updated by calculating inventory, ordering, retrieving & stocking product. Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation
Job Requirements
HND / Bachelor’s Degree / Master's Degree
Below 35 years old
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Lounge/Bar Manager/Supervisor, or a similar job role in the hospitality industry
Leadership & time management skills
Good problem-solving & customer service skills
Attention to detail
Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities
