  • The Accountant shall be is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company.


Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities

The specific job duties and responsibilities of the accountant include:



  • Maintaining accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Developing and maintaining the company's budget, as well as forecasting financial performance based on current and future market conditions.

  • Managing the company's accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.

  • Managing the company's payroll, including processing employee payments and ensuring compliance with tax and employment laws.

  • Conducting financial analysis to identify trends and patterns in the company's financial performance, as well as to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

  • Ensuring that the company is compliant with all relevant accounting regulations and standards, as well as for preparing financial reports and statements for external stakeholders.

  • Provides financial data and analysis to support decision-making by the company's management team.


Qualification / Experience



  • The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of a First Degree in Accounting. Professional qualification will be an added advantage.

  • At least a two to three years’ experience in a manufacturing accounting role is also required.

  • A good practical working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software is required.
