Job Description

• The Production Supervisor shall be responsible for managing the production process to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards.


• He/She is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products, and must ensure that production schedules are met while keeping costs under control.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities

The specific job duties and responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:

• Planning and scheduling production to ensure that products are produced on time and to the required quality standards.


• Managing resources including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.


• Monitoring production performance including productivity, quality, and safety, and making necessary adjustments to improve performance.


• Managing quality control processes to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.


• Managing inventory levels to ensure that there is sufficient stock to meet production schedules without excessive inventory levels.


• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety regulations and environmental standards.


• Managing budgets and production costs including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure that production is cost-effective and profitable.


• Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives: by identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualification / Experience

• The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of First Degree certificate with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Salary / Remuneration

• Salary: N70,000 - N90,000 / month.
