We are seeking the services of a Pilot(driver)to join our team. you will be responsible for safely transporting personnel, equipment, and materials to various job sites.
You will be required to follow all traffic laws and regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
Your role will also include ensuring that the company vehicles are well-maintained and in good condition.
Responsibilities
Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly to transport personnel, equipment, and materials to various job sites.
Maintain a clean driving record, ensuring that all traffic laws and regulations are followed.
Ensure that the company vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good condition.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including checking oil and fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
Plan and follow the most efficient route to reach the destination on time.
Assist in loading and unloading equipment and materials. Keep accurate records of mileage and fuel consumption.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to the use of company vehicles.
Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding job assignments, schedules, and any issues that may arise.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour with all clients and co-workers.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in driving company vehicles.
Ability to read and follow maps, as well as use GPS systems.
Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
The job requires long hours of driving.
The driver must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
The driver may be required to work at various job sites, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
The driver must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a vehicle for long hours.
