Responsibilities

• Responsible for 24/7 monitoring of all regional BTS sites, Transmission links via Huawei U2020 NMS


• Escalation and follow-up on outages, as well as fault rectification on the network with colocation vendors, BSS Engineers, Power Engineers, TAC team and other concerned stakeholder.


• Generate daily outage reports and other relevant reports as required..


• Documenting all outages and faults on the network (Downtime record).


• Provide Back office support to the BSS Team, Power Team, Enterprise Team, RF team and other relevant units. - - Create and assign trouble ticket, and provide timely update till closure


• Manage site access with colocation vendors for field teams and other units as required.


• Reporting to the NOC supervisor

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.


• No more than 2years working experience as a NOC Engineer.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools.


• Ability to work well under pressure.


• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures.


• Excellent troubleshooting skills.


• Ability to work flexible hours.


• Knowledge of telecoms infrastructure e.g. BSS, Transmission etc. is an added advantage


• ITIL Certification is an added advantage


• No more than 28years
