Lefort Consulting Limited is a technology driven professional service provider, in the areas of Accounting, Business Solution Consulting, Human Resource Management, and Audit and Tax Advisory Services.
Qualification:BA/BSc/HND
Experience: 2 years
Requirements
- Preparation of financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Prepare high-quality reports as client engagement deliverables.
- Provide accounting advice and support to internal teams on tax engagements.
- Maintain strong relationships with new and established clients.
- Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
- Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
- Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by forwarding required the necessary information to authorities.
- Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
- Keep track of industry trends and changes relating to taxes.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.sc/HND Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduation/qualification experience preferably in a consulting firm
- ACA/ACCA /ACIT qualification is a plus
- Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
- Robust working knowledge of Nigeria's Tax laws is important.
- Familiarization with IASs/IFRSs very important
- Good team player
- Relevant IT skills (working with Accounting Software and Microsoft packages)
- Candidate must be based in Abuja.
