Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production.

  • Assesses current material availablity; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables.

  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors.

  • Compiling and analyzing data to perform price analysis as well as reviewing proposals to establish price objectives.

  • Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and new products.

  • Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.

  • Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.

  • Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recording keeping systems.

  • Coordinates removal or disposal or surplus materials.

  • Administers the departmental budget.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience.

  • Previous proven supervisory experience.

Salary

N120,000 - N150,000 monthly
