  • Our client, a real Estate company that undertake property development and redevelopment to provide quality commercial and residential unit, property consultancy to its client both private and public entities is looking to engage an Accountant.


Job Description



  • Responsible for Coordinating accounting functions and programs

  • Ensuring that business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Responsible for working closely with team members to assist with the month-end close.

  • Responsible for assisting with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.

  • Develop financial procedures to improve efficiency.

  • Provide support in tax returns and tax audit.

  • Prepare quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings.

  • Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time.

  • Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures

  • Ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks

  • Manage suppliers and contractors payments

  • Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.

  • Prepare and monitor budgets.

  • Prepare Payroll and other employee benefits for payment.

  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)

  • Forecast costs and revenues.

  • Organize internal audits.

  • Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)

  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Complying with state and federal tax regulations. 


Qualifications



  • B. Sc degree in Accounting.

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant.

  • 5-7 years of work experience as an Accountant

  • Must possess relevant professional Certificates in Accounting.

  • Strong financial analysis skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and other accounting softwares

  • Sound to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
