About Your Role:



  • Develop and champion our business development efforts to position Octamile as Africa's leading digital insurance solutions provider for tier 1 and 2 car dealers.

  • Develop strategies that help drive Octamile’s solution subscription amongst car dealers

  • Conduct regular visitations to car dealer locations

  • Support other sales agents for business development and partnership relationships.

  • Make calls to prospects and maintain a call log of conversations to identify issues and develop solutions

  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Marketing teams to provide customer feedback of the product and brainstorm product solutions.

  • Collaborate with the BD team to achieve the motor insurance financial targets

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients


About You:



  • Proven experience in business development or similar role

  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry

  • Experience in driving insurance sales & partnerships with Auto-industry service providers is a plus.

  • Must be a great communicator, that inspires action and loyalty.

  • A good understanding and interest in Insurance and sales.

  • Must have strong communication skills, presentation skills, networking skills, and understands the language of incumbents.

  • Track record of delivering mutually successful business outcomes
