Our client is a group of passionate and hard-working action-takers who are in the business of eradicating trash. They research and develop new technologies with the aim of reducing plastic pollution in the areas. Due to expansion they are in need of a Maintenance Technician.

Location: Surulere

Responsibilities:

• In charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment.


• Inspects equipment, and systems to identify any issues.


• Repair faulty equipment.


• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.


• Plan and schedule repairs.


• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.


• Perform general maintenance tasks including changing of oil etc.


• Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.


• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

Requirements:

• Bsc/HND in electrical or mechanical engineering.


• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a recycling company.


• In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems in the recycling field.


• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.


• Effective problem-solving abilities.
