As a cyber-security tool developer, you are tasked with the role of designing and developing software tools that can help organizations protect their digital assets and data from cyber-attacks

Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like python, Java and C++.


• Strong knowledge of various computer operating systems.


• Proficiency in developing security tools that can run on various computer operating systems.


• Knowledge of cyber security concepts and best practices


• Ability to develop security software that has predictive threat intelligence and analytics.


• Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, Intrusion detection/Intrusion prevention systems and vulnerability scanners.


• Knowledge of IP security domain.


• Experience with many relational databases.


• Understanding of encryption system and key management.


• Experience with software development methodologies and tools like Agile, Git, and Jira.


• Strong problem and analytical skills.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a security software solution that enables secure access control, data encryption, data protection, web server protection and file integrity monitoring.


• Solution Design: Designing and developing security solutions that meet the organization's business and security requirements, and align with industry best practices and standards.


• Integrate security solutions API


• Write codes that are secure, scalable, and maintainable.


• Perform security testing and code review to ensure that the software is robust and secure.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance.


• Document software design, implementation and testing process.


• Collaborating with other security professionals, such as security analysts and security researchers, to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
