Job Description

Looking for a candidate with vast experience in downstream operation management, marketing and/ or strong FMCG background, and the candidate will report to the Chairman of the Board and have ultimate responsibility for the Company’s performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the entire operations in all the Depots, Pipelines and stations with regards to loading and offloading of trucks and sales.


• Provide inspired leadership for the organization.


• Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.


• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.


• Ensure effective and stringent cost control within all locations.


• Takes critical decisions for the company on behalf of the company.


• Ensures smooth running of the locations at all times.


• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.


• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.


• Appraise Operations staff and make recommendation to the Human Resources department.


• Coordinate resources both internal and external to ensure the continued growth of the company.


• Identify and implement new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• First degree in any relevant discipline, Engineering and Business Administration is an advantage, experience in the operations, sales or logistics in the downstream sector of Nigerian oil and gas industry is required.

• Post graduate qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration and other relevant field would be an advantage.


• Minimum of 20 years progressive operational, marketing/sales and managerial experience with at least 10 years at Top Managerial level in a reputable oil and gas company or reputable FMCG company.


• Good Commercial experience


• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills


• Proficiency in formulating policies, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures to achieve company’s goals.


• Good Leadership skills and medium to long term strategist.
