Job Description

• The perfect person for this job is skilled in the craft of filmmaking and understands all of the components of video production, including sound, music, visuals and point of view.


• In this role, you would be responsible for piecing together raw footage from the cinematographer and sound recorder to create a unique and exciting story.


• As video has become the best way for communicating company's messages on online platforms, this position will play an important role in our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for producing videos and editing, for internal and external purposes.


• Operate cameras and computer editing systems used for video media and effects


• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation


• Improve video and sound quality using various video software


• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film


• Combine visual footage with audio sound effects, dialogue, ambient sound and a musical soundtrack to create more drama in the story


• Create rough and final cuts


• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running


• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications


• Splice raw film footage together from various sources and shoots, and combine it with other scenes to create a cohesive story.


• Use computer editing software programs, video switching devices, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together film components


• Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product


• Assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the company's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.


• Work closely with the team to ensure that the field project is completed on time, high standard of quality, equipment management, crew management, pre-production and post-production planning.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm a successful direction and strategy.

• This role reports to the Head of Production Department

Qualifications

• You have proven work experience as a Video Editor and a Field Producer.


• Experience working with video editing software


• Understand Lighting for Videos


• Solid attention to detail


• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity


• Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects


• Creative mind and storytelling skills


• Creative thinker


• Good time-management skills


• Great interpersonal and communication skills
