JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assisting with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.
- Processing requisition and other business forms, checking account balances, and approving purchases.
- Advising other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures.
- Managing the month end process, including adjustments
- Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
- Assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
- Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations (subsidiaries & group) for FRM review
- Compliance- To ensure that the company maintains optimal relationships with auditors and other professional consultants and is up to date in all statutory remittances (PAYE, pensions, VAT, WHT, Income tax, EDT)
- Keep and document complete and accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions and events.
- Managing account receivables and payables to ensure a positive cash flow objective is possible.
- Monitor timelines across statutory payment requirements.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.

Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.

- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
