  • An Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Maintenance (EPCM) services provider, operating within the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector, is looking to engage a Material Interface Coordinator, who will be responsible for the proper movement of the Material from supplier to request or/ worksite, including expediting as and when required, Dealing with local authorities for easy movement of material. Necessary coordination and paperwork with Custom and other authorities


Responsibilities



  • Ensures quality control requirements are met.

  • Material logistics coordinator is responsible for the tracking of materials from x-works. to requestor / work site.

  • Process shipping and receiving paperwork.

  • Establish and maintain effective communications with all production and support groups (transportation, custom brokers, customers and suppliers).

  • Interface with Company's Buyers, Subcontract Administrators, Expediters, freight forwarding personnel and the updating of records to match the freight forwarding activities and dates.

  • Provide quality tracking of all bulks, including the updating of reports to verify the alignment of Requisition, Purchasing & received quantities.

  • Provide assistance for site receiving and issuance of materials.

  • Provide assistance for inventory control and inventory reconciliation.

  • Provide construction material control reports and material allocations based on availability.

  • Provide assistance and feedback for maintaining minimum stock level in stores.

  • Other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor.


Requirements



  • Minimum of a Degree in related Supply Chain Management or other related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as Material Logistic Coordinator.

  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.

  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.

  • Knowledge of custom and local community formalities.

  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.

  • Ability to work independently and comfortable making decisions.

  • Strong & concise communication skills with the ability to interface with all functions and levels of management.

  • Effectively manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities.

  • Good presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent computer literacy skills and numeracy skills.

  • Good analysis, problem-solving skills.

  • Keen attention to detail. High sense of responsibility, accountability and integrity.

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and networking skills.

  • Experience in Oil & Gas Industry.

  • Able to successfully work in a fast-paced environment.
