Job Description



  • An Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Maintenance (EPCM) services provider, operating within the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector, is looking to engage a SHE Engineer, who willsupport the HSE team and the wider company project team.


Responsibilities



  • Providing day-to-day HSE administration support to the HSSE Manager

  • Follow up on Reporting and Recording: Compile accurate Company weekly and monthly reports.

  • Support the maintenance of the Company Incident Management Reporting system,

  • U-See U-ACT and providing data to the HSSE Manager on a regular basis; ensuring they are effectively managed via the approved reporting system.

  • Providing administration services to the HSE Department as appropriate, assisting in the filing of minutes, reports. certificates, etc.

  • Assist in the maintenance of the approved HSE performance and Improvement Plan.

  • Assist in the compilation of incident information to identify incident trends.

  • Assist in the application of the Company Lessons Learned Process.

  • Assist in the development of HSE Presentations for onshore and offshore purposes.

  • Assist in the development of HSE Quarterly Themes and Campaigns

  • Assist with the production of the Company HSE Interface document

  • Assist the HSSE Manager in the Organization of HSE Inductions for new Company/Project hires.

  • Participate in Office HSE committees and coordinate Company office inspections and improvements.

  • Other technical HSE duties as and when required in support of the HSE team.

  • Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the company HS&E policy, procedures, and Safety Management System.

  • Comply with all relevant Rossetti Marino Group HS&E policies and procedures where appropriate.

  • Assist in the compilation of data for Call for tender including design safety inputs.

  • Assist and take part in Risk assessment including safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile.

  • Assist the HSSE manager in the investigation of all safety & occupational health related injuries/accidents. Document the Implementation of all corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of injuries & incidents.

  • Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the HSE operations daily workplan.

  • Document and monitor the approved health plan. Ensure proper records are in place for project personnel


Requirements



  • First University or Higher Technical Degree.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in oil and gas sector

  • HSE experience desirable.

  • HSE Certificate (IOSH / NEBOSH)

  • Oral & written communication

  • Good Team working skills.

  • Experience in Design Safety

  • Experience in HSE Evaluation in EPC
