Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
ICAR Officer:
- Develop internal audit methodology and procedures to use in specific audit and review engagements, in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditor’s professional practice standards.
- Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans
- Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee.
- Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases.
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Knowledge of general treasury, forecasting, budgeting and relaxed accounting.
- Excellent in organization and auditing skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- BSc. in accounting or related field from a recognized university.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
