Reports to: GM, Corporate Services & Administration

Job Purpose

• A creative, energetic and enthusiastic graphics designer responsible for creating visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.


• Implements and delivers the brand’s communication materials across internal and external media and ensuring compliance with all elements of the brand.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• See projects throughout the entire design process, from creative conception to production


• Craft engaging visuals in a fast-paced environment.


• Design for a wide range of projects while ensuring consistency of the Accelerex brand across many surfaces including our website, social channels, and events.


• Collaborate with communications, product, and any other team to conceptualize campaigns, communications and announcements.


• Support the team for activations, internal branding, video shoots, animations and jingle production.


• Member of the Editorial Board of the inhouse journal and responsible for creative conception, page planning and execution.


• Any other assignment that may be given by the GM, Corporate Services & Administration.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Fine Arts, Communication or any related field.


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering a broad range of output, preferably within an agency environment.

Competencies Required:

• A strong portfolio showcasing graphics design experience across a range of media - still graphics, motion graphics, etc.


• Excellent Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are essential, After Effects/Premiere a bonus).


• Exceptional conceptual thinking, curiosity and an abundance of design ideas and the ability to visualize and communicate ideas.


• Excellence in typography, color, layout, and composition.


• Ability to work with both speed and accuracy across multiple simultaneous projects under strict deadlines.


• Strong skills around critical thinking and storytelling.


• Embrace an iterative design process and receptive to feedback.


• Ability to work independently and drive multiple projects.


• Foster strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional partners.


• Comfortable in your soft skills: listening, effective communication, and decision-making.
