Your main responsibilitie is to lead the implementation of Action Against Hunger food security and livelihoods (FSL) humanitarian and developmental programmes at the mission level with the aim to achieve the mission strategic goals and objectives, and more specifically :
Lead FSL situation analysis and assessment;
Identify priorities and design FSL interventions including supporting, needs assessment (including market assessment);
Post Distribution Monitoring and other surveys mainly for the humanitarian programme;
In collaboration with team, develop and deliver annual/quarterly/monthly work/activity plans, follow up the implementation of plans and ensure timely review/adjust them to achieve committed target. This includes in coordination with program team deliver progress reports in timely manner and or according to agreed deadlines;
Provide technical support in all aspects of the project management cycle in ensuring the integration of ACF FSL strategy and quality standards;
Contribute to the mission monthly technical situation report and Activity Progress Report (APRs)
Requirements
You hold a master degree in agronomy, environmental sciences, biology or any other relevant discipline in Food, security & livehood and Emergency response Program for Natural and conflict disaster.
You have minimum 5 years experience in FSL sector in the field of humanitarian cooperation in challenging context.
Cash and market assessments and child and gender protection are part of your strengths.
Humanitarian project cycle management, donor reporting rules and compliance do not have secret for you.
You demonstrate good knowledge of humanitarian aid and/or development and you are good at synthesising, analysing and have writing skills.
You are an experienced manager, able to support and empower your team.
You are proactive, creative, autonomous and able to absorb important workload and work under pressure.
