Job Description

• The job role focuses on protecting IBEDC against losses and inefficiencies by constantly reviewing Information Technology systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducts audit and reviews of systems, applications and IT processes.


• Follow-up and escalation on the implementation of approved recommendations proposed in previous audit reports and measure impact on operations.


• Assists in defining, drafting and reviewing internal audit policies and procedures.


• Provide Business and IT management with guidance on IT risk management matters, particularly on application and IT infrastructure.


• Coordinates inspection of inventories supplied to ensure conformity with Works Order, LPO etc.


• Carry out IT security audits (network, operating system and data centre), to identify vulnerabilities and proffer applicable mitigation.


• Coordinate the scope and performance of IT reviews with business units and external security experts.


• Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by Lead, IT Auditor.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance or any related discipline.


• Professional membership and certification in relevant fields including IT and Audit (CIA, CISA, CISSP).


• At least 4+ years’ experience in audit processes and techniques.
