Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in the calibration, repair and maintenance of laboratory equipment.


• Provide support in the installation and commissioning of laboratory equipment.


• Ensure proper maintenance of calibration laboratory tools both on site and in the technical laboratory.


• Collaborate with the technical manager in the training of end users on usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment.


• Interface with the business support team for updates on intent to order and orders.


• Participate in the development, modification, verification and validation of calibration methods


• Ensure proper filling of reference instrument calibration reports


• Support and resolve internal issues relating to technical affairs.


• Assist in the preparation of service quotes after carrying out an inspection report


• Assist in the implementation of maintenance and calibration programs.


• Ensure proper safety procedures are strictly adhered to at all times.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• B.Tech, B.Sc or HND in Chemical Engineering


• 0-1 year cognate experience in a similar capacity


• Exposure to quality control systems will be an added advantage.

Specialised Knowledge:

• Ability to pay attention to detail


• Ability of diagnose critically faulty equipment using available data and resources.


• Proficiency in using auto card


• Proficiency in using a 3-dimension drawing tool for laboratory design


• Availability to travel as needed.
