Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced inventory manager to join our client’s supermarket team.
- The primary responsibility of the manager will be to oversee & manage the supermarket's inventory to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize stock loss, & maximize profits.
Responsibilities
- Develop & implement inventory management policies & procedures
- Review & analyze inventory data to ensure accuracy & completeness
- Monitor & manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels & minimize waste
- Forecast demand & ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times
- Carry out routine stock checks & audits to ensure accuracy & maintain appropriate stock levels
- Identify slow-moving & non-performing products & take necessary action
- Delegate duties to team members & ensure efficient performance
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely & accurate delivery of stock
- Build & maintain efficient relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory management operations
- Analyze sales trends to ensure optimal inventory levels & timely ordering of goods
- Develop & manage inventory reports that will be presented to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related field
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management in the FMCG sector
- Male
- 35 45 years old
- Must have knowledge of a relevant inventory management software
- Must have excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills & ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have prior leadership experience with a proven track record of quality performance
- Ability to work under pressure & in a fast-paced environment
Remuneration
N80,000 Monthly or more (depending on work experience level).
