Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced inventory manager to join our client’s supermarket team.


• The primary responsibility of the manager will be to oversee & manage the supermarket's inventory to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize stock loss, & maximize profits.

Responsibilities

• Develop & implement inventory management policies & procedures


• Review & analyze inventory data to ensure accuracy & completeness


• Monitor & manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels & minimize waste


• Forecast demand & ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times


• Carry out routine stock checks & audits to ensure accuracy & maintain appropriate stock levels


• Identify slow-moving & non-performing products & take necessary action


• Delegate duties to team members & ensure efficient performance


• Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely & accurate delivery of stock


• Build & maintain efficient relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory management operations


• Analyze sales trends to ensure optimal inventory levels & timely ordering of goods


• Develop & manage inventory reports that will be presented to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related field


• 3+ years of experience in inventory management in the FMCG sector


• Male


• 35 45 years old


• Must have knowledge of a relevant inventory management software


• Must have excellent analytical & problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication skills & ability to work well in a team environment


• Must have prior leadership experience with a proven track record of quality performance


• Ability to work under pressure & in a fast-paced environment

Remuneration

N80,000 Monthly or more (depending on work experience level).
