Job Description



  • The Research Officer is responsible for supporting the organization's research efforts and assisting the Research Manager with various tasks related to research planning, execution, and reporting.

  • They assist in the design and implementation of research studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • The Research Officer works closely with other members of the research team to ensure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.


Responsibilities



  • Assist in the development and implementation of research plans.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of research studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Conduct literature reviews and other background research to support research projects.

  • Support the preparation of research reports, presentations, and other deliverables.

  • Help to manage project timelines and budgets.

  • Conduct quality checks on research data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Collaborate with other members of the research team to ensure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the research field and identify opportunities for the organization to advance its research capabilities.

  • Assist with the management of relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support research initiatives.

  • Ensure that all research activities comply with ethical and legal standards.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as research Methodology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in a research-related role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency in statistical software and other research tools.

  • Good understanding of research ethics and legal requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with developments in the research field.
