Job Description
- The Research Officer is responsible for supporting the organization's research efforts and assisting the Research Manager with various tasks related to research planning, execution, and reporting.
- They assist in the design and implementation of research studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- The Research Officer works closely with other members of the research team to ensure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of research plans.
- Assist in the design and implementation of research studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct literature reviews and other background research to support research projects.
- Support the preparation of research reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
- Help to manage project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct quality checks on research data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to ensure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the research field and identify opportunities for the organization to advance its research capabilities.
- Assist with the management of relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support research initiatives.
- Ensure that all research activities comply with ethical and legal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as research Methodology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in a research-related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in statistical software and other research tools.
- Good understanding of research ethics and legal requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with developments in the research field.
