Job Description



  • The Technical Adviser is responsible for providing technical expertise to the organization's leadership and management team.

  • They analyse technical issues, evaluate options, and provide recommendations to help the organization make informed decisions.

  • The Technical Adviser works closely with other members of the leadership team to identify technical challenges and develop strategies to overcome them.


Responsibilities



  • Provide technical advice and expertise to the organization's leadership and management team.

  • Identify technical challenges and work with other members of the leadership team to develop strategies to overcome them.

  • Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to develop and implement technical solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the technical field and identify opportunities for the organization to advance its technical

  • capabilities.

  • Review and evaluate technical proposals from vendors and external partners.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of technical standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Provide training and support to technical staff as needed.

  • Ensure that all technical activities comply with ethical and legal standards.

  • Attend technical conferences and events to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices.


Qualifications, Experience, and Attributed Skills



  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical advisory role, preferably in a related industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Experience developing technical standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Good understanding of ethical and legal requirements related to technical activities.

  • Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with developments in the technical field.
