ROLE:

• The Debt Recovery Lead’s role is critical to the prompt and effective management of debts and monthly settlements from Sax’s Partners and Agents.


• The ideal candidate handling this role shall work hand in hand with the Financial Controller, gathering input from the Accounts and Operations department to drive a prompt debt settlement culture amongst Partners, Agents, and all other stakeholders.

REPORTS TO: Country Manager

Key Responsibilities

Settlements/Reconciliation/Relationship Mgmt.

• Provide feedback on settlement issues and escalate to key stakeholders monthly.


• Ensure prompt reconciliation of debts/settlements in areas of conflict.


• Determine appropriate partners’/agents’ liabilities and communicate promptly.


• Follow up on Partners/Agents on prompt settlements via phone calls, emails, and other available platforms.


• Orienting new Partners and re-sensitizing them on prompt settlements of Sax share.


• Escalate to the stakeholders (CM, Head Ops, FC and MD) settlement issues likely to lead to bad debts without delay.


• Maintain quality relationship with Sax Agents and partners.

Education/Skills

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Development.


• Competence in intermediate excel is a must.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Excellent relationship management skills

Experience:

• Graduate with minimum 3 years’ experience handling settlement, reconciliations and accounts management


• in a Gaming firm is an added advantage.
