Job Description

• We are building the operating system for SMEs in Africa and are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the Products Team towards achieving our objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Design Team


• Responsible alongside Product Managers for the customer journey on our platforms


• Implement and maintain a uniform design system across our platforms


• Design user interfaces for Traction Apps merchant customers


• Identify opportunities for new products


• Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences


• Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners


• Research materials and techniques best fit for Merchants on the Traction Apps platform


• Manage the design of products and components


• Improve the design of existing products


• Manage the gathering of feedback from product users

Requirements

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Product Design, Manufacturing Design Engineering or relevant field


• At least 5 years work experience as a Product Designer or similar role


• Experience with design programs (like Illustrator and Sketch)


• Time-management skills


• Adaptability.
