  • Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager who will drive and guide innovative and leading-edge business development and commercial opportunity maturation for the organization, developing customer-focused offerings to meet customers'needs in an evolving marketplace.


Principal Accountabilities



  • Accountable for business development activities in alignment with the company's commercial strategy.

  • Responsible for overseeing a strategic framework for operationalising service offerings, deal making, strategic customer service engagement, business and market competitive intelligence etc.

  • As leadership team member, provide Business Development guidance and advisory as required.

  • Develop a business/commercial plan with revenue forecast, managing the execution of the plan.

  • Integrate and align the activities of the department with the rest of the Company for synergy of delivery.

  • Responsible for the deal-making and opportunity maturation funnel to guide prospect identification, selection, engagement, tracking, maturation and closure process.

  • Accountable for timely, periodic and relevant market information and analytics as well as competitive intelligence to guide investment decisions.

  • Develop and manage a client service proposition framework for optimising value from Tristar clients.

  • Manage a potential client database with differentiated service propositions to each segment.

  • Provide a pricing/tariffing template for Tristar’s service offerings, in alignment with the earnings aspirations and expectations; ensuring this is properly disseminated and adopted through the organisation.

  • Develop and manage the budget and overall business performance for Business Development department.


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree qualification with 5 - 10 years work experience.

  • Proven track record originating and closing sales deal (preferrably with an IT Solutions company)

  • Experience meeting and exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience liaising, working and managing relationships with C-suite executives.
