• Our Client, a large-scale commercial farm located in the outskirts of the capital city of Akwa Ibom State is hiring suitably qualified candidates to fill the Maintenance Technician role:

YOUR MISSION

• Responsible for preserving the excellent condition and functionality of our machineries and equipment in our business premises. Conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.

YOUR PROFILE

• As a staff for this position, you must possess:


• A minimum of National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant field is preferred.


• A minimum of 2 years experience in Automobile/Power Generators Maintenance, or a similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques, hydraulic systems, and basic tools & appliances.


• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.


• Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.


• The ability to work under pressure.


• Physically capable, available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.


• Effective problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Knowledge of Agricultural machineries/Poultry farm operations is an added advantage.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.


• Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.


• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.


• Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.


• Planning and scheduling repairs.


• Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.


• Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.


• Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.


• Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
