Job Summary



  • As an Electric Wireline Logging Technology Instructor, you will be responsible for providing training and instruction on the safe and efficient operation of electric wireline logging technology.

  • Your primary duties will include creating course materials, delivering lectures and hands-on instruction, and assessing trainee performance to ensure a high level of competency is achieved.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on activities, to meet the needs of a diverse range of clients and learners.

  • Deliver lectures and hands-on instruction to trainees in classroom and field settings, covering topics such as safety, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.

  • Assess trainee performance through quizzes, tests, and practical exams to ensure a high level of competency is achieved.

  • Provide feedback to trainees on their progress and make recommendations for further training or practice as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with other instructors and training staff to ensure the highest quality of training is provided to clients.

  • Keep up to date with industry developments and advancements in electric wireline logging technology to ensure course materials and instruction remain current and relevant.

  • Travel to various locations as needed to deliver training and instruction.


Qualifications / Requirements



  • Must possess a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Petroleum Technology / Engineering

  • Must have a Minimums of Two (2) year working experience as a Driller, production engineer or Geophysics

  • Be occupationally competent

  • Have/belong to a professional certificate/group related to Drilling production

  • Have been trained in instructional/training techniques and/or have proven instructing experience

  • Experience in creating course materials and delivering training and instruction to a diverse range of learners.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
