Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior management to increase the company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of annual, medium and long-termfinancial plan
- Coordinate the preparation of company’s master budget annually and standard setting across the units
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, underscore the root cause, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure accurate uploading of budget figures into the company's ERP
- Ensure effective implementation of budgetary control and monitoring
- Preparation of ad hoc report for management use, including building business cases, scenarios, simulations and sensitivity analysis for informed decision making
- Knows and understands confidentiality, price-sensitive and disclosure regulatory requirements
- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and competitors analysis
Qualifications / Experience
- Must possess a First Degree in Accounting or Finance related field of study.
- Must also possess a recognized professional accounting qualification.
- Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years post-NYSC experience
- Experience in the FMCG will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling is an added advantage
- She/He must be able to analyse financial data and create financial models for decision making.
- She/He must have the skills of using accounting software
