Overall Purpose of Job



  • Responsible for promoting the company’s image and for getting the company’s messages to the desired audience in the right form and on time.


Responsibilities



  • Rightly present the company brand to internal /external audiences.

  • Coordinate the promotion of various products/services offered by the company.

  • Put together right materials, right content, right photos and circulate the company’s newsletter in the first week of a new month.

  • Manage content of and monitor all corporate branding materials such as website, brochures, promotional materials, stationery, corporate video, etc.

  • Manage and administer content of communication and branding channels such as company website, twitter, LinkedIn, Face Book, etc.

  • Generate and present press releases

  • Ensure that the company brand values visible in all offices in the company.

  • Work on any corporate branding campaigns.

  • Coordinate and manage the company’s corporate communication events.

  • Create company literature and other forms of communication.

  • Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.

  • Work with advertisers for timely and useable advertisement submissions.

  • Copy, edit, proofread, and revise communications.

  • Design and launch email marketing campaigns.

  • Identify, develop, and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.

  • Conduct extensive media outreach.

  • Prepare briefing materials.

  • Coordinate conference, trade shows, and press interviews.

  • Manage information.

  • Prepare agendas and conduct research.

  • Effectively manage vendors.

  • Any other job assignments given by the SHRM and the CEO.


Person Specification / Competencies



  • A good First Degree.

  • Four years experience on a similar role.

  • Quick learner.

  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills.

  • Excellent writing, researching, and editing skills.

  • Proficiency in the use of software applications e.g., word, power point, desktop publication, magazines design software, etc.

  • Multi-tasking skills

  • Good use of initiative, creativity, and innovation

  • Good team player

  • A positive attitude.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Excellent planning, organizing and coordination skills.
