Job Description



  • The service engineer will be responsible for repairs, servicing equipment, creating preventative maintenance strategies, and updating user manuals.

  • The Service Engineer should look for ways to improve customer experience and interact well with clients to provide information and procedures to address the inquiries, concerns and requests to their products and services.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.

  • Assist in installing equipment; analyze, inspect and review findings to determine the solution to the problem client’s demand.

  • Carryout inspection, troubleshooting and repairs as required by clients’ company policies and procedures.

  • Using various proved and effective engineering strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to clients' concerns.

  • Work with clients, field engineers and technicians to ensure adequate service delivery.

  • Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.

  • Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.

  • Identify potential clients and liaise with Technical Sales Team where necessary.

  • Offer customer training for the purchased products

  • Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.

  • Delivering demonstrations to ensure that clients are educated on safe and effective equipment use.

  • Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements.

  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients, building relationships based on integrity, trust, and respect

  • Promote Raybond’s other arms of services/products.

  • Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless and effective work is delivered on behalf of Raybond.


Requirements



  • A Bachelor's Degree / HND in Engineering is preferred.

  • A relevant certificate or license is advantageous.

  • Relevant years of 5 years’ experience minimum.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with electrical or mechanical procedures that may have effect on the products being purchased.

  • Excellent active listening and customer service skills.

  • The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed.

  • The ability to remain professional under pressure.

  • Superb work ethic and a growth mindset.

  • Self-motivated.
