QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.


• Ability to communicate effectively with teams and project coordinators


• Proven ability to take ownership of projects


• Ability to work in a fast paced environment


• Any experience teaching/training people is a plus


• Experience with using Kafka


• Experience working with airflow


• Expert experience in python


• Experience working with distributed systems


• Experience working with Docker

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design detailed educational course content around Data Engineering


• Create engaging training course content (slides, code examples, quizzes and activities)


• Set learning objectives and determine criteria for evaluation.


• Organise additional resources for instructors and trainees


• Provide manuals and guidelines on how to use training materials 


• Follow up with trainees and instructors after each course and collect feedback
