Identify, qualify and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums such as email, phone calls, trade shows, and channel partner relationships
Execute on prospecting activities associated with the company’s marketing plan, and specific marketing campaigns
Build and maintain relationships with clients and high profile prospects
Update and maintain the company CRM tool with all relevant details associated with prospecting activities
Responsible for managing your assigned territory and achieving sales targets
Build and maintain professional networks
Qualify prospects and new sales leads
Assist in establishing effective sales strategies and tactics that result in new business generation and expanding current business within the assigned territory
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on our products and services
Work closely with other departments to assist with coordination of proposals, demos, legal contracts, implementation of software and ensure client satisfaction
Achieve annual sales targets and average monthly revenue quotas on a consistent basis.
Requirements and Skills
BSc / HND in computer science or any related field
Strong sales background in IT especially in software solutions/hardware/networking in Banks and Insurance Companies corporates
5 or more years of sales experience in software sales and a track record of achieving targets
Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities
Extensive experience utilizing a CRM to manage individual key performance metrics
Experience building and managing territory & strategic account plans
Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
Proven ability to make a positive impact outside of individual role
Ability to create and deliver presentations
Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices
Highly confident and excellent communication skills to engage high profile prospects
