A fast-growing hospitality company is looking for an experienced baker to create recipes, order ingredients, and coordinate baking activities to prepare varieties of bakery products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess the quality of raw materials before baking


• Create recipes, bake and decorate varieties of bakery products


• Manage needed supplies and inventory


• Make requisition when necessary


• Ensure a tidy environment according to organization standard


• Shape dough to prepare different types of bakery products


• Track supplies, place orders and document accurately


• Measuring and combining ingredients to make baked products

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Previous experience as a baker


• Must be detail-oriented with ability to manage time effectively


• Excellent planning skills with ability to work around customer needs.


• Understanding of food safety practices


• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
