Job Description
A fast-growing hospitality company is looking for an experienced baker to create recipes, order ingredients, and coordinate baking activities to prepare varieties of bakery products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking
- Create recipes, bake and decorate varieties of bakery products
- Manage needed supplies and inventory
- Make requisition when necessary
- Ensure a tidy environment according to organization standard
- Shape dough to prepare different types of bakery products
- Track supplies, place orders and document accurately
- Measuring and combining ingredients to make baked products
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Previous experience as a baker
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent planning skills with ability to work around customer needs.
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
