What You Will Be Doing:

• Ensure timely payment of statutory and other regulatory payments through designated platforms (e.g Remita)


• Initiation of Payments on Betking banking applications.


• Completing the payables process cycle by closing out all processed payments in the ERP system with the payment details.


• Follow up with signatories to effect payments.


• Initiation of own account transfers on Betking banking platforms and posting same into the ERP System.


• Proofing and Reconciliation of Balance Sheet items relating to the Treasury Function.


• Monthly calculation of Interests and bank charges for comparison to bank statements.


• Ensure all assets are insured with world class insurance companies through an Insurance Broker and also initiate renewals as at when due.


• Ensure all losses are indemnified through the Insurance Broker.


• Design processes to ensure good risk management processes to reduce business losses.


• Serve as back up to Treasury Support Officer

What You Need For This Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Banking, or any Social Science


• Professional qualification will be an added advantage – CIBN, CIIN or ACCA/ACA


• At least 3 years’ cognate experience in Banking or Manufacturing or any relevant industry.


• Practical knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.


• Knowledge of Insurance Products and workings of Insurance Brokers


• Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing.


• Display high level of confidentiality and integrity.
