- Make a professional and accurate travel arrangements for our clients including air and ground transportation reservations.
- Converse with customers to determine viable destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required.
- Contribute to revenue growth and profit margin of the organization.
- Maintaining statistical and financial records.
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff
- Helping passengers and customers with all travel related inquiries including but not limited to changes or cancellations; and promoting special offers
- Using GDS (Sabre & Amadeus) and other website reservations systems to check availability and compare prices.
- Create tailor made Holidays to the world's best Hotels & Resorts.
- Provide advice about visas or passports
- Follow up on enquiries and endeavour convert it to Sales.
- Keep Informed of Business Changes that affect the Ticketing Area.
- Sell travel products like holidays and insurance and provide detailed advice on routes and destination excursions.
- Work with impressive attention to detail.
- Work under pressure and meet agreed timelines whilst managing multiple high-end clients.
- Plan, describe, arrange, and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by the company
- Build and maintain cordial relationships with all clients; meet and strive to exceed quality and productivity goal.
- Preparing promotional materials and display including airline promotions to clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 -5 years working experience in a leading Travel Agency or Airline in similar capacity.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. / HND qualification.
- IATA certificate and experience on Fares and Ticketing.
- Proficiency in the use of two of the 3 GDS ( preferably Sabre, and Amadeus)
- Strong Analytical skills
- Desired Courses: Marketing, Business Administration, Aviation, Transport Management.
- Certification in Travel and Tourism is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
- Must be an out-of-the-box thinker.
- Online Sales Experience is very important
- Preferred candidate must reside on Lagos Island.
Salary: Up to 70k depending on experience plus commission
